Pimp cane in use.
Are you looking for a nice, easy-going and awesome pan-fandom game to bring a character to? Srsly, any character from any science-fiction or fantasy fandom. You might want to take a look at The Bureau! It is set in a pseudo-Hell Boy universe where characters are agents for the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. (Full premise details are here.) The game will be starting sometime in mid-November so there's plenty of time to decide who to play and to write an application.
